New Delhi. The Election Commission of India (ECI) will announce the schedule for the Karnataka assembly elections on Wednesday. The Commission said in a statement that the ECI will hold a press conference today at 11:30 am in the Plenary Hall of Vigyan Bhavan here. The term of the 224-member Karnataka Assembly ends in May. The Model Code of Conduct will come into force immediately after the announcement of the programme. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will release its list of candidates after the election dates for Karnataka are announced. Meanwhile, the opposition Congress and JD(S) have already announced their first list of candidates. State Congress president DK Shivakumar said the party's second list of 100 candidates would be released after March 30. The Congress had announced the names of 124 candidates in its first list released last week.

New Delhi. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) created history once again on Sunday i.e. 26 March. ISRO launched 36 UK satellites simultaneously. It was launched at 9 am from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. This mission has been named LVM3-M3 / OneWeb India-2. This is the second launch for ISRO in 2023, after the successful launch of the SSLV-D2/EOS07 mission in February.
