New Delhi. Parliament membership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been restored. The Lok Sabha Secretariat issued the notification on Tuesday (August 7). On August 4, the Supreme Court quashed the two-year sentence and conviction of Rahul Gandhi in the Modi surname defamation case. The MP had gone on March 24 after serving a sentence of two years in the Modi surname case.

Varanasi. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) team has started the survey of the Gyanvapi complex of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. This time there are 61 members in the ASI team. The petitioners and lawyers of the Hindu side will also be present in the premises during the survey. However, the Muslim side has not participated in this survey. On the other hand, the petition of the Muslim side will be heard in the Supreme Court today.

Tension prevailed after stone pelting on Brij Mandal Jalabhishek religious procession on Monday in Nuh of Mewat district of Haryana. Curfew has been imposed in Nuh for two days. The fire of violence reached Gurugram, Faridabad in no time. Section 144 has been implemented in 5 districts including Rewari, Gurgaon, Palwal, Faridabad. Internet is turned off. So far 4 people, including Gurgaon's home guards Neeraj and Gursevak, have died in the violence.

Bhopal. Asia's biggest international literature festival 'Unmesh' will be organized from August 3 to 6 at Rabindra Bhawan in Bhopal. President Draupadi Murmu will inaugurate the joint event of Sahitya Akademi and Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi. There will be activities related to literature during the day and cultural presentations in the evening session.

Bangalore / Thiruvananthapuram. Senior Congress leader Oommen Chandy, who served twice as the Chief Minister of Kerala, died in Bengaluru in the early hours of Tuesday. He was 79 years old. Chandy's son Chandy Oommen informed about his father's demise. He wrote on his Facebook page, 'Appa passed away.' Oommen Chandy was ill for some time and was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru.

Bhopal. Vande Bharat train going from capital Bhopal to Delhi caught fire this morning. C 14 coat of Vande Bharat leaving Rani Kamalapati station for Nizamuddin caught fire near Kurwai station. According to the passenger traveling in the train, the fire started from the battery. All the passengers have been evacuated safely. Please tell that this is the first Vande Bharat of MP, which was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Rani Kamalapati on 1 April.

In the School Education Department, 12th pass about 30 thousand teachers are teaching children, but out of these only 40 teachers have shown interest in doing UG-PG degree to enhance their qualification.
