Various questions are being raised in the British Parliament regarding the Income Tax Department's action on the Indian offices of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Tory MP David Ratley, Parliamentary Secretary of the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), raised his questions with members representing different sections of the opposition parties on raids and freedom of expression in India. During this, he was seen defending the BBC for 20 minutes in Parliament.
