If moving the fishes by car, feed the fishes initial before packing them. Never give them food while on your way. They can survive even a week with out food and feeding will only ruin the water situation. Maintain the drinking water's temperature stable by packing them in a cooler or getting a battery-operated air pump in the shifting container.
