Temozolomide (TMZ) is a medication used in the treatment of some brain tumors such as glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma. The usual temozolomide capsule dosage is usually administered once a day in the evening at bedtime. Take temozolomide dosage exactly as instructed. Neither administer more/less dosage nor take more often than prescribed by your healthcare team. Temozolomide falls under the class of medications known as alkylating agents. It is believed to act in order to resist or block the growth of cancer cells in the body.
