Ribociclib is used together with an aromatase inhibitor as initial endocrine-based therapy in order to treat pre/perimenopausal or postmenopausal females with the hormone receptor (HR) +Ve, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) -Ve advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Its branded name is Kisqali. When used in order to treat breast cancer, ribociclib should be taken with hormone (endocrine) therapy.
