Doctors who have earned a degree in dental science and want to work as dentists in India or overseas can pursue a Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Public Health Dentistry. After earning their BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) or a degree equivalent recognised by the Dental Council of India, they perform it.
