The University of North carolina will open its 2010 football season against the LSU Tigers in the Kickoff Game in Miami. The game will air nationally on Mastening numbers. The Tar Heels and the LSU Tigers have played six times in the past, essentially the most recent being in 1986. Although LSU holds a 5-1 advantage in these meetings, great UNC is ranked before LSU on preseason AP Poll.
