Guwahati: Assam reported 55 fatalities due to COVID-19 on Wednesday taking the death toll to 3,793, while 3,752 fresh cases pushed the infection tally to 4,46,445.

Of the fresh fatalities, seven were reported from Dibrugarh followed by 5 in Sonitpur, 4 each in Dhubri and Kamrup metro, three each from Golaghat, Hojai, Karimganj, Sivasagar and Tinsukia, two from Kokrajhar.
