Medicated treatment for cold sores, are the points to ponder. Oral herpes or fever blisters or cold sore is an infection around the mouth and lip area. It is caused by herpes simplex type 1 virus (HSV-1). People on a majority basis get it around 20 years of age and it affects 8 out of 10 people.
