Ihram is a holy state, crucial for Muslims when they go for Hajj and Umrah. It is like a special condition, not only about clothes but also the heart and mind. You must wear simple clothes—for men, two white pieces without stitching, and for women, modest dress—and make an intention in your heart for Allah. The word “Ihram” comes from Arabic and means something forbidden because, in this state, you cannot do certain things like cutting hair, using perfume, or arguing and other works etc. It is the time to be humble, equal with others, and forget about worldly things.
