He donated a huge amount for the benefit of the Muslims in the hours of need. For his generosity, he was titled as Ghani by the Prophet, peace be upon him. Ghani means, one who donated his wealth in the way of ALLAH), By Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. The two daughters of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him was in the Nikah of Usman (r.a), which entitled him by the “Dhun-Norain”. He accompanied the Prophet, peace be upon him, for many battles.
