All surfaces must be cleaned to remove all traces of dirt, dust, efflorescence, mold, salt, grease, oil, asphalt, laitance, curing compounds, paint, coatings and other contaminants. Acceptable surface cleaning methods include shot blasting, sandblasting, and water blasting and chemical cleaners.
