The Downtown Flint Optimist Club is celebrating their 80th anniversary with a rooftop party at the Flint Farmer’s Market from 6 pm until 11 pm on July 29th. Admission is $25 per person and includes a dinner buffet and entry into the door prize drawings. There will be a cash bar with free pop, coffee and water. The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint Steel Drum Band will be making an appearance and a four piece jazz band will provide live entertainment. Flint Mayor Dayne Walling and Michigan District Optimist Governor Cherryl Thames will be in attendance.
