It has a carved corniced mantel shelf above a ‘running’ frieze inlaid with Azul Valende in a Greek Key pattern and jambs that terminate in delicately carved consoles. Shown with the Andover register grate and a black slate hearth. Opening 40″ W x 40″ H Shelf 64″ L x 7″ D Overall size 55″ W x 53 1/2″ H Depth of jamb 3 1/4″ Height of footblock 4″.
