Winter season is a great season for aviation photos. The sun remains relatively low throughout the day. Consequently, light falls attractively on the subject: the aircraft! Dress warmly; in case the cold grips you, operating your camera with a steady hand gets almost impossible. Preferably use gloves which let your palms and palms to grip firmly, preventing the camera from falling out of your hands.
