Bhopal. The first day of the new year will bring a new dawn for the residents of the capital. The Union Carbide factory that killed thousands of people in a few hours 40 years ago can become a source of relief for the residents of the capital Bhopal in the coming times. There are plans to make the factory complex spread over about 85 acres an oxygen zone. The country’s largest city forest will be built here. 337 metric tons of toxic chemical waste buried in this factory has been removed. There are plans to send it to Pithampur on Wednesday evening. It will be destroyed in the incinerator there.
