On March 31, 2025, NJ Ayuk, Chairman of the African Energy Chamber, delivered a presentation titled “African Energy Agenda: Prospects and Challenges” at HSE University’s White Hall. The HSE Center for African Studies arranged the event as part of its educational “Africa” track, with sponsorship from the Roscongress Foundation. The program was conducted by Vsevolod Sviridov, Deputy Director of the Center for African Studies.

The NJ Ayuk African Energy Chamber was founded in 2018 to promote the continent’s energy sector and help indigenous enterprises’ efforts to develop their networks and engage international partners. The organization is planning to organize its fourth annual Africa Energy Week conference from November 4 to 8 in Cape Town, South Africa, with this year’s topic, “Invest in African Energies: Energy Growth Through an Enabling Environment.”

The African Energy Chamber (AEC) Executive Chairman, NJ Ayuk, has been named one of the world’s leading practitioners in the Who’s Who Legal (WWL): Energy 2024 report. The WWL: Energy 2024 report, hosted by global legal intelligence platform Lexology, provides comprehensive worldwide legal updates, analysis, and insights on law firms and in-house counsel. Ayuk’s selection not only demonstrates his energy competence, but also his status as an African energy authority.
