The scan to BIM process is executed for developing 3D model in a digital environment from the point cloud. Millions of points together from the point cloud. The points are basically generated when the existing building is scanned by using laser. Scan to BIM is basically an approach of retrieving conceptual design of an existing building which does not have any available information regarding its drawing.
