Quality Improvement in health care is comprised of numerous frameworks. Equitability is one of the pertinent elements of QI. It helps in ensuring that all patients are offered the same quality of health irrespective of their personal attributes (Johnson, 2011). Efficiency is the second framework of QI. This framework averts the misuse of medical equipment or human resources. The enhancement of health care delivery is inherently associated with the capacity of the systems to remain efficient. Timeliness acts as another significant component of the frameworks for quality improvement.
