The coloring in chocolate diamonds rings is made possible from the chemical make-up of the diamonds when they have been mined. Colored diamonds contain Nitrogen contaminants which when in there lowest form, produce a hint of yellow color. When the gemstone contains a higher concentration of particles which can be spread evenly throughout the rock, there is a color that is darker and stronger.
